THE SOUTH
The South: For people on vacation, the South is where the sun always shines. For an introduction, start with Florida for the exquisite hedonism of its subtropical sun, then to Charleston, SouthCarolina, for an echo of the golden past, over to Atlanta for a look at the 'New South, and then to New Orleans, a grand old river city with a unique Creole flavor. You can search for google. In southern Florida's subtropical climate, with air and seawater temperatures ranging from an average low of 74°F (23°C) in January to an aver of 88°F (31°C) in August, lovees of heart should watch out: the Florida sun can scorch even when the sky is overcast.
Miami and the Beaches (Florida):
Miami Beach: Connected to mainland Miami by causeways across Biscayne Bay, this is where the pleasure begins: 7 miles (11km) of sandy beaches in front of high-rise hotels and condominium apartments. If your hotel has commandeered its own piece of the shoreline - as is the case around 46th Street you may be perfectly happy to stay there, but if not, there are several alternatives.
Sunset over Florida's Gulf Coast:
Haulover Beach, at the north end, is for the very active, with palm trees to shade lazy companions. It's well known for surfing, frisbee-
tossing, and fishing off the pier. There are also barbecue grills where you can turn your catch into a picnic.
Surfside at 93rd Street and the 64th and 53rd Street beaches are best for swimming, away from the high-end crowds that parade along Miami Beach. 21st Street is a favorite with young people, who turn the fast-food stands into lively open-air clubs.
South Beach: An entire square mile (2.5 sq. km) of this ice-cream-cake confection known as the Art Deco District was listed in the National Registry of Historic Places, and there are few neighborhoods anywhere more likely to put a smile on your face. Around Washington Avenue, on the blocks between 8th and 21st streets, you can stroll around hotels, apartment buildings, restaurants, and stores that sprang up in the tourist boom of the 1920s and 1930s, with a flourish of chrome and bakelite, gaily colored ceramic tiles and mirrored glass, borrowing motifs from the Egyptians and Aztecs. After years of scorn by purists who found the buildings too 'florid, South Beach and the Deco District is now not only the trendiest place in Florida but one of the major entertainment and fashion capitals in America. Dress to kill when you come here, and try a pink cocktail. Today, everyone's a film star. A more laid-back option is to visit The Wynwood Arts District (http://wynwoodmiami.com), home to over 70 galleries, antique shops, and bars as well as numerous open-air street-art installations.

According to Stanford Medical, It is in fact the ONLY reason women in this country live 10 years more and weigh an average of 19 KG less than us.
ReplyDelete(And realistically, it has totally NOTHING to do with genetics or some secret diet and really, EVERYTHING related to "HOW" they are eating.)
P.S, I said "HOW", not "what"...
